Need Color Help

We have an bonus room upstairs that we use as a family room. As soon as you walk up the stairs and turn left, your in the room. It's all open/no door. Off of this room is 2 bedrooms. One bedroom is painted Ralph Lauren Bamboo and BR#2 is still the original eggshell. We will be painting BR#2 as well. Color TBD but, we were thinking a red accent wall.

The bonus room is eggshell. The hallway is a light beige. The Master is Bamboo and Dk Chocolate. The carpet is light grey throughout. I would like all the colors upstairs to flow.

What color would you suggest painting the bonus room?

The room currently has a black leather couch in it (which will replace eventually), computer desk and a bookcase. The window has 2"oak wood blinds with beige tape.

Sorry I don't have any pics yet.

Re: Need Color Help

a light taupe?

sounds like a lot of shades of beige around... a greyish taupe would introduce some grey, yet the brown undertones of the taupe would have it still flow with the other rooms....

What color is ralph lauren bamboo?

I'd do a slate blue maybe... BM Adagio is really nice.

I'd say you could do a chocolate brown, but with a black couch in there that won't really work. If you are getting a new couch soon you could do choc brown walls and get a light color couch, light window treatments, etc.

Re: Need Color Help

I agree with CaMacho. A slate blue or a gray color would looke great with what you have already and even if you add a red accent wall in one of the rooms upstairs the red and gray/blue still go together.

Bamboo is a a light brown. Just like bamboo :)

Is Adagio the color in your Master? I was thinking about that, I love it.
