Need color/decor suggestions
We have a very blah, beige bathroom. The cabinets and vanity are a really pretty wood, oak with a sort of reddish tint. But the bathroom is completely tiled in beige tiles, and the sink, tub and toilet are beige too.
We are switching out the faucet from chrome to this one:
(The color is called Venetian Bronze).
We are also removing the shower door and putting up a curtain.
We want to give the bathroom a kind of beachy feel but we need to give it some more color. Any ideas for shower curtains or bathmats? What colors should we be going for?

to me beachy = blue & beige. since you have the beige already, I would def. go with blue. It doesn't have to be a baby blue it could be a light slate blue. And of course some white decor would be nice too.
Or you could throw a light blue and light green together. Look at my bathroom album for pics. We have beige tile, dark vanity and sage green on the walls. But I have some blues in there was well.
Some of these pics are just for color inspiration.  A lot of these pics have beige, blue or green in them to give you inspiration for your room. HTH!

I am kind of excited about them too  It's not at all beachy - more spa-inspired? But I'm okay with that, the colors are gorgeous and would really tie the whole bathroom together.

This is a really nice color. Sorry I don't know the color though. I'm sure if you go and look at some paint chips from BM or Valspar you will find something similar. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Well, we like the look of the doors, but it's impossible to bathe two kids that way and they are so hard to keep clean.
We don't plan on ever selling the house so we're not worried about resale
