Need cold relief!
I am SO miserable. I have one of the worst colds of my life. All I want to do is sleep, but I can't breathe and my heartburn is crazy. My hands are also numb. Wahhhhh! OK, sorry for being a big baby! Is there anything I can do to find some relief? ANy advice is appreciated.

I just got over the flu and they said I could take sudafed non drowsy. I still felt like I was dieing but I think it helped a little.

I saw him yesterday and he didn't tell me any meds I could take. Granted it is much worse today and of course he's not there & in practice alone .

mucinex to help with congestion...there is a sudafed you can take.
check on babycenter.com which meds you can take or just call the dr.

this is what i took. i suffered during the day but i took this at night so i could sleep and  is fine!

Regular tylenol if you have a fever
Orange juice to replenish your Vitamin C.
Chicken soup to replenish electrolytes (potassium) protein (energy) & salt (hydration)
Feel better!

Thanks everyone! OK I got through to the nurse and she also said regular sudafed or mucinex and afrin nasal spray. I'll just try to get by for now and have DH make a pit stop on the way home. Hopefully it'll help me get some sleep.

this is a minimal thing that mad me feel maximally better last week. get those sudacare mentholyptus things that go in your shower. you will feel lilke you have entered the halls of medicine.
