Need breakfast ideas for an 18 month old

My DS is refusing his oatmeal some days, I think he's just tried of it Chat Icon

What else can I give him?

I already give him an egg omlet 2 x week for lunch. He doesn't love cream of wheat/farina. He'll eat yogurt but I feel like alone it's not enough. We do pancakes on Saturdays.

What does your DC eat for breakfast?

ETA: He doesn't want to eat bread anymore, not sure why. He's not generally picky.

ETA - he usually eats a couple of things together since he eats the best/most at breakfast!

For breakfast he always has yogurt with fruit and cheerios and sometimes eggs too and sometimes banana if he asks for it

I give eggs for lunch with cheese and veggies and sometimes sardines

Eggs are healthy and I don't see a problem with babies eating them often if they like them.

I want DS to eat at least 1 egg and have one serving of yogurt a day. And I buy eggs with Omega 3. Its really important to me.

Re: Need breakfast ideas for an 18 month old

small croissant with nutella and fruit (blueberreis, kiwi, pear, apple)
scones with butter and fruit (same as above)

basically he has fruit every morning with some sort of starchy breadlike thing to fill him up. I also give him cereal. kashi honey sunshine, but he won't eat it with milk, so it's usually just an appetizer.

he also likes muffins, corn bread and other yummy baked goods.

he's not as into eggs, pancakes and french toast as he used to be. that we try on weekends.

oatmeal once or twice a week, but like your ds, any more than that he won't eat it.
