Need Another Opinion- Telling People
So basically, my husband and I have made a decision to wait on telling people at my job... I have only told my boss... but I am super friendly with 1 girl in particular at work and Im DYING to tell her... Am I totally horrible if I tell her and not tell my husband about it? Im SOOO sick of trying to hide it from her... And shes trust worthy so she would never say anything... Part of me feels guilty about keeping it from my hubby...
Did anyone not tell their hubby they shared it with someone?
I mean if I can hold out without showing for another 3 weeks, thats when we plan to tell everyone...
What do you think?

jmo I would tell her. I really dont think you need to even tell your dh you told her. Honestly its one person who you say is trustworthy and it will make YOU feel good

I say totally OK! My DH is dying to tell people and I asked him to wait till I was 12 weeks. Me on the other hand had to tell my closest friend and a close co-worker (he doesn't know).
I just felt there are things I need to talk about with my friends, and God forbid anything happened I would have their support which would be much needed

Im 17 weeks... I had a previous loss and it was really hard having to tell everyone... Just saying that over and over again, but this girl was there for me... And I know how happy she would be for me...
Yea I guess thats it I just want to be able to enjoy sharing this with her... And have someone to talk to whose a BTDT mom ya know?
Thanks again guys! I appreciate that I have you girls to share all this with...

I would just tell her and not tell your husband. If it's only one person I wouldn't be too concerned about not telling DH that you told her. When I first found I was pregnant, it was my MIL and my mom that were telling everyone before I was 12 weeks. I was really pissed at both of them for telling especially MIL since she posted it on Facebook right after we told her which we told her early I was only like 4 weeks at that point. I think telling your friend will be fine.

Gotcha - totally understandable. I would tell her...she's your friend and I am sure it would be nice to have someone to share in the joy with.
