Hi,

I work from home and have had babysitters come to help me out a few days a week for a few hours in the morning. We had a new babysitter start 3 weeks ago and although my DD ( just turned 2) liked her in the beginning the last few days she reallly dislikes her. She starts shouting NO when she comes through the door and throws a complete tantrum and clings to me. I only go to the other room to work so its not like I am getting in the car and leaving her.

She is with her now but only because they are watching a barney DVD - great I am paying this girl to watch my DD watch a DVDChat Icon

What do I do? trust my 2 year olds instincts that she just does not like this babysitter and try to find another one? let her deal with it even it it takes her over an hour to stop clinging to me?

We had another babysitter who my DD liked - she still came down to the office to "check on me" but never threw tantrums like she is throwing with this gril.

Any advice?
