Need advice on strollers/snap n go's/maclaren
Hi ladies! I need advice so any help would be appreciated!
-Basically, do you think getting the travel system is necessary?
I'm getting the snap n Go and the MacLaren lightweight stroller. But do you think it's necessary to get the travel system too? Couldn't i just use the snap n go for a while and then when the baby is big enough, just use the maclaren? Do i need the stroller?
TIA!

Sounds like a great plan! You don't need the travel system.

If you get the snap and go and a regular stroller, no need for the travel system as the travel system is just a removable carseat that matches and fits into a full stroller. It's redundant.

This is what we did and we have no problems.

Well my only concern is that with the maclaren, there isn't much storage at all. So i'm wondering if i should just get all 3 or not. Or if that's too many?

Re: Need advice on strollers/snap n go's/maclaren
You definitely don't need a travel system - we didn't get one b.c they seemed so bulky and a pain. I got a regular reclining stroller (Zippy by Inglesina) for longer walks and for the neighborhood and I got the snap n go for quick errands and times when she was sleeping and I didn't want to take her out of the infant car seat.
DD had days when she didn't love her car seat so I could use the Zippy then - but for quick errands nothing beats the snap n go - it is so lightweight and you just snap the seat in and out of the car - a great option. - it also has a nice size basket.
We just recently got a maclaren for when she does outgrow the snap n go/infant seat - I wanted something lightweight that folds up small and the zippy is a bit bigger stroller for quick errands.
I would get a regular stroller that does have full recline in case your child decides that they don't want to stay all the time in the car seat - b.c that would be your only option since most of the maclaren's aren't good for newborns.

I think that the metrolite is a great stroller--and you may need to be able to let the baby recline. I like both of those strollers you put on the registry. Sometimes, for bigger shopping trips, the Metrolite may be more useful because of the basket and storage area under the seat. And sometimes, especially for travel, and quick trips, the McClaren will be better. Up to you... ETS--the travel system that you put together is a lot lighter in weight than some of the ones you buy as a set...I found some of those other strollers a lot more bulky when we tried them out. I think you will be happy with what you decided on yesterday.

Re: Need advice on strollers/snap n go's/maclaren
Im starting with the snap&go---once we are out and about more I am planning on getting a lightweight stroller---if my DS really likes the infant seat, I will just get a macleran when he grows out of it or is too heavy for the infant seat---if DS hates the infant seat, I plan on getting something like a zippy.....so in my opinion you don't need the travel system too
