Need accent color suggestions
Our basement is kind of a mix of an office for BF, playroom for DS, and laundry area. We're re-doing the carpet and walls this week.
BF's desk is a black color wood. I was thinking of doing a dark beige burber carpet on the floors (and he has a lamp that has a black base with a burlap beige shade). I need an accent color for the room. We have a futon that I'd like to add pillows to and our laundry area I want to add a curtain to block it off - both of these things I would do in our accent color.
PS - I dont want to use gray or blue since we have that in both bedrooms upstairs. What other color can we incorporate?

Re: Need accent color suggestions
With neutrals like black and beige as your main colors, you could use pretty much any bright color as your accent. Red or orange would be nice and warm, or for something with more pop, turquoise, yellow, or a bright spring green, or if you wanted to keep it all in the neutrals, I'd use a lighter shade, like cream. Lots of possibilities!

I agree that you could go with pretty much any bright color as an accent. I am thinking deep red would look great!

Thanks ladies. I think I'm going to go with a deep rust color
