Need a venue
Looking to have a party at a restaurant for my sons christening. Anyone know of a good place that is reasonable in price to in eastern Suffolk area. Every place I call is so expensive :(

Have you looked into the Heritage Center? They have a room. There is also the Surf Club in Miller Place and the Mt. Sinai Yacht Club too.

We just booked DS's Baptism at The Irish Coffee Pub... It's not really that far east but our family has had a few parties there and they always do a great job!

Don't know how far out you are, but I had DD's christening at J&Rs steakhouse. They did a really nice job, everybody loved the food, and it was reasonable. I want to say like $20pp. But I didn't do open bar. I ran a tab at the bar and paid at the end. I don't have a lot of drinkers in my family, and didn't want to pay for the whole room to drink when I knew they wouldn't.
