Nearly 38 week and 2cm and 80% effaced....
...do you think if we did the deed it could bring on labor seeing as I am already 2 cm?
I forgot to ask the doctor yesterday.
I DONT want to bring on labor - I really want to go to 40 weeks or as near as.
I was induced with DD at 38 weeks so dont have any experience after that stage.
Also for those of you who are dreading the first internal - I had mine yesterday and felt nothing so hopefully you will have the same experience.

It's the proglastins in semen that help soften your cervix - I know plenty of people who have tried to start labor by having sex and it didn't work. But there's no way of telling really. Women walk around for weeks a cm or two dilated.
I'd like mine to stay put for another two weeks too!
