Natural IUI cycle

So I'm on IUI #6. The last 5 were medicated with Clomid or Gonal F. My insurance requires 6 IUIs before IVF so we are doing a natural IUI bc I have cysts and my body needs a rest. After this cycle we will get ready for IVF.

Did you trigger with a natural IUI cycle? I haven't gotten a call from Freedom so I assume my RE office isn't ordering it. RE told me to use OPKS. I'm a little worried I might miss the window. I mean I know this cycle is just a formality so I don't think it will work but why not give it a shot right?

Did you go in for any monitoring on a natural IUI cycle or just call and have the IUI the day after you got a positive OPK? I have the internet cheap ones and have used them before but not sure I'm going to be able to pinpoint the exact day. I should of asked RE more questions about this cycle. Its weird not doing meds for the first time in 6 months.

Every re is diff, but our very 1st cycle was unmediated. I did go in for monitoring and I also used a trigger

They monitor and have you use OPK's to determine ovulation but do not always use trigger. I did not on my natural cycles. If you have an issue ovulating, they will rec trigger. Good luck

I am doing a natural iui I will go to re on day 15 to trigger if I don't o before hand

I did one natural cycle when I surged on my own, and one where I triggered, but they weren't with Dr. Z. If you surge on your own he may not ask you to trigger.
