National Parks Recommendations
We love road trips and this year we want to possibly do one to a big national park that have a lot of wild animal life. I recently watched a documentary about Yosemite (in California) and it looked awesome! I just wish it wasn't that far. Any recommendations?

Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg? They are Smoky Mountains National Parks. It's in eastern TN. It's a long car ride, but doable.

Acadia in Maine is definitely possible to road trip.
My favorite that I've visited is Bryce Canyon in Utah. I would like to see Yellow Stone someday along with a few others.

Agreed. We hiked to the top of Cadillac Mountain too, was amazing. Great area and the Bar Harbor Inn is where we stayed, great walkable town.

Been here too. Amazing. My favorite. We stayed with Cobbly Nob Rentals and had an amazing house. Be careful if you book there though, our house was so high up and at night I thought we were all going to die. Next time I want to stay lower. We usually leave at 5am and get there for dinner.
It is Bear country though, you need to be safe. One day we were out on our front porch hanging out. We go inside the cabin, 2 minutes later a bear is walking right by the porch! Same with hiking, you need to be very careful.
Great if you have kids, there is a main strip there that's like little Las Vegas for kids with tons of stuff to do.
