Nasty sore throat and stuffy nose

So I woke up this morning to a very nasty sore throat and stuffy nose Is there anything I can do to help? DH got me ice pops and ive been eating those all day. I cant sleep and im so tired.

Any tips you can offer

My OB said regular afrin nasal spray is okay, and regular robitussin and vick's vapor rub.

I posted this on another thread too with similar Q.

Try saline nasal spray for the stuffy nose. And some decaf plain tea with real honey and real lemon squeezed in it. Using the honey/lemon flavored herbal stuff does nothing. But the real stuff I found to be soothing and almost anti-histamine like.

Make sure you have a humidifier going and I also used Vicks Vapor Rub as another poster mentioned.

Unfortunately there's not much you can take without checking with you doctor. I'm getting over a sinus infection and bronchitis and my doctor gave me an antibiotic, regular Sudafed and Robitussin Chest. Check with the doctor, especially with the Robitussin, to see which one safe.
