Nassau Rest. Help!
My IL's are coming in from Brooklyn today and I was going to cook dinner, but now my FIL wants to go out for a "nice italian dinner." I don't know where to go! We have gone with them to Matteo's and they really liked it but want to try something new.
Any ideas? We are in Wantagh.

Oh...I forgot about Ciao Baby! I love the food there. They don't take reservations though do they?? My FIL does NOT like to wait to eat (not that enyone does but he is really bad)
And yup--family style is OK. I am open to all suggestions

La Viola in Syosset
La Parma in on Jerciho Turnpike in Huntington
Piccola Bussola -on Jerico Turnpike in Huntington
La Famiglia in Plainview on Old COuntry Road
WE are going to Stresa East tonight but you would need reservations and they book up way in advance...
There is also a couple of good ones inMassapequa area but I don't remember the names--..
Ciao Baby does not take reservations...

ciao baby is ok but the portions are gigantic and it is really loud
i love buteras in massapequa and woodbury - great food - the one in woodbury if right off the 135 and has a full bar
the one in massapequa has a rest and a cafe - both are great

Love Stresa East. I've never had a problem getting reservations though. Worth a shot.
