9 of us are turning 40 next year and we are planning a girls only trip for Columbus Day weekend.
Any recommendations for hotels, restaurants, bars. Things we must do. I’m in charge of booking and planning since it’s my 2 groups of friends.

Re: Nashville
I'm doing the same thing with my friends this year. We are doing an air BNB but I would have booked the opryland hotel. We bought tickets to the Grand Ole Opry. I have heard to eat at Adele's, 5th and (something), Jason Aldeen's restaurant and Ederly's bbq.

We are also looking into an air BNB as well. Can you message me which one you chose? I’m figuring that may be the best option.

Fifth and Taylor and it's excellent. Delicious food, cool atmosphere. Went for work and we had a great team dinner there one night. Loved it. It's nice for a nice dinner one night.

Re: Nashville
We stayed at Renaissance Nashville Hotel which was walking distance to Broadway.
We hit all major sites, country music hall of fame, ryman theater (my sister recorded a song), show at the grand ole opry.
Other things we did was wine tasting experience at Belle Meade Plantation (really nice experience would recommend) and we did massages at Omni hotel spa.
We had a really delicious dinner at Etch

I lied. It's not an air BNB. It's home away. I think my friend's boss owns it or her boss knows the owner or something. I was half listening as you can tell. LOL

Love Nashville! Going again next month. I would not stay at Opryland, its a beautiful resort, but not near anything! I myself like to stay as close to Lower Broadway as possible, but we are big in to Honky Tonks and nightlife. As for must dos: Country Hall of Fame Museum Honky Tonks - any and all, but definitely go to Tootsies once, it's the oldest! Ryman Auditorium, you can do a tour, if you can see a show even better! Grand Ole Opry Bluebird Cafe for a show RCA Studio tour Drink a Bushwacker! I did go to the Hermitage last time - Andrew Jackson's plantation. If you are into that sort of thing it's nice.

My work conference was at the Renaissance. It's right downtown walking distance to everything.

Re: Nashville
we were just there for spring break, (me DH and our 8 yr old DS) and it was so much fun. We stayed at a hotel just outside the touristy area..god I forget the name..I'll ask him tonight. But it was a pretty nice hotel.
Grand Ol Opry was a fun tour even though Im not into country music. Broadway is the place to be..lots of bars and BBq places there;
the store from American Pickers is in Nashville, or just outside of it (Antique Archaeology) with a cute icecream place right next to it. (its literally on the opposite side of train tracks and we got stuck waiting for a freight train to cross.)
we did some historical things as well on our way down to Nashville (we drove from Atlanta to Nashville). The James K Polk house but I doubt that will be on your fun girls weekend..lol.

That place looks great. Thank you. I included that one to my girlfriends. Now let’s hope 8 women can come to a mutual decision. Lol.
