naps and STTN

So, I know that most kids fall under sleep begets sleep...The past week DD has had awful wakings (like every hour) at night, which she NEVER did...We did stay at home more bc of the rain and she was napping well...Yesterday, she missed a nap and slept through the night, not waking ONCE, not even looking for her pacifier!!! So is this telling me to skip a nap????

My DD doesn't fall into the sleep begets sleep category. Days when she misses her naps, she sleeps really well at night. Days when she naps more than usual, she wakes up more often at night, and seems playful at her bedtime.
