Naps and Classes

Okay, I signed DS up for a class last weke that starts at 11. When I signed him up, it was not his thing to nap at that time. Ever since that day though, he naps around 10 to 11.

Ahhh, what to do? Drag him out half asleep (he'll be hungry when we get there too) or just let him sleep? We pay per session, so I lose the money basically.

Re: Naps and Classes

I'd see about trying to switch to another class.

I may put him in the car and take him there, see if he wakes up. If not, I'll see what else we can do. The only problem, this is about the only class for his age they offer. We'd have to wait until his schedule changes again, or he's older basically, but I'll probably be back at work by then.

Stinks!

Re: Naps and Classes

It sounds like he may turn 11 o'clock into his permanent nap time though. Would you consider trying to get a refund instead? While classes are great, you want to get your money's worth for sure.

It may change. I have the same problem with DS. The class starts at 9:30 and now he is taking his nap at 10. I hope the car ride will put him to sleep so that he lasts through the class.

Well, we went. He actually woke up just before 11, so we were late, but he was rested and happy. I'll see if this continues--he really hasn't followed much of a routine with naps till recently, so I'm not sure if this will stick for long or not.
