Nantucket

My bf and I are going to Nantucket in 2 weeks. We are staying at the Wauwinet. Does anyone have any recs for dinner or things to do? TIA

make sure you get ice cream from the juice bar - it is delicious

Lola 41 - they start taking reservations at 4 each day - great food

Arnos on amin is great too

nice to ride bilke's or a jeep around

the brewery and cysco and distillary is fun to hang out for an afternoon

i went years ago and remember biking to a little restaurant/deli place called "Something Natural" it was amazing! the food was so great and we went for lunch a few times-totally worth checking out
i can't wait to go back just to go there

My fam is from there and we go every summer for a few weeks. Actually just got back Sunday! Fm with any specific questions-

Cisco has live muic every day from 4-7. It's byo food :)

The Resort you are staying at is amazing! I'm jealous. Their restaurant "toppers" is very good. I'm pretty sure they have a boat that takes guests in an out of town.

Are u renting a car? The w is pretty far out of town. Bike able but not walk able.

Definitely do lunch at Cru on the very end of straight warf. Provisions does a better sandwich than something natural. They have good iced coffee too. Fudge from Aunt Leah's. Def the juice bar. Sea grille is an amazing restaurant but off the water. Get the grilled lobster and fettuccini.

Surf side and jetties are my fav beaches.

Go to the chanticleer for a romantic dinner

Just got back yesterday. It is my favorite place in the world.

We had dinner at AK Diamonds and The Straight Wharf Restaurant. The Straight Wharf Restaurant was the best meal I have ever eaten. My husband had the striped bass and I had the scallops. So impressed. Def. will go back there next year.

I also love provisions and something natural for sandwiches. I love there herb bread and even brought home a loaf.

Arnos has really nice breakfasts and lunches. Haven't tried them for dinner.

Sophie T Pizza, is a great pizza place out of town.

Jetties Beach bar for oysters and drinks at 4pm. Always fun! My daughter loves this beach because it has a lot of shelling.

It is fun watching surfers on Nobadeer. You can also drive your 4-wheel drive onto it.

I like the less popular beaches. There is one on the bayside off Washing Pond rd by the water tower.

Since I lived on the island years ago, we always bring a car or rent one when on the island, just so much more to do when you have one. We actually rented a jeep this time because we flew and had a blast discovering some new paths to 4-wheel by Great Point. Incredible experience.
