Re: Naming question

we can't decide on our boys name, but we've narrowed it down to 2 choices.

So we've decided to wait and see our baby boy first IF we have a boy! Chat Icon

Re: Naming question

nah.... DH and I look so similar we KNOW what he'll look like Chat Icon He'll be a tall blonde with very prominent cheekbones, light (blue/green/hazel) eyes, super-fair skin, and a small nose.....

his nickname surely will be "clear" (My bestfriend calls me that becuase she claims my skin is transleucent Chat Icon )

so, anything german/polish will match well for a name Chat Icon

Re: Naming question

I went in with one boys name and 3 girl names. When she was born she wasn't named until the next morning. I ruled one name out as soon as I saw her because she didn't look like an Eva to me. Then it was between Gianna and Isabella. I had a dream in the hospital that I called her Isabella, and it seemed like it fit. So I named her when Dh got back to the hospital.

Re: Naming question

Picking out a boys name and a girls name is hard enough, for us it would be harder if we had 2 of each.

If I knew the sex of the baby, I might have 2 names to pick from though. Chat Icon

Re: Naming question

no, we picked our boy's name based partially on our last name. plus DH has VERY strong genes so i know Chat Icon will at least look a little like him - and i love our name choice too much to give it up!!

Re: Naming question

We have our names already picked out but I don't think it's unusual to wait and see what the baby looks like. Have 2 names that you really like ready and see what fits her best. Chat Icon

Re: Naming question

I suggested the same thing.
We don't know the sex but if it is a boy we will name it after DH father.
If it is a girl we narrowed it down to two names. They seems so completely different to me that I need to take a look and see what she looks like.
My DH thinks I am crazy, but what else is new.

Re: Naming question

I think we are pretty set on the name, but I do feel like I could change my mind at last minute when I see him. I doubt DH would let me at that point though!!

Re: Naming question

I can understand that

I know a lot of people who had a few names in mind but that the moment the baby came they said "nope, she/he looks like ____"

Mine really can look Asian or Hispanic.. who knows?

I have Jezebel set in stone but lately I've been thinking Arianna may be better. We'll see when we see her.

Re: Naming question

ITA!
Once we see our little Chat Icon we'll name her. We've narrowed it down to 4 names that we both agree on and like. Now we're just waiting to see what she looks like!
