name poll
im haivng twin boys and am having a lot of trouble with names. Im thrilled im havign boys but only was able to come up with girl names that i was set on.... so please offer your thoguhts and opinions on boy names.
i do not want to use the same middle name for both, i am just mixing up the names for additional options.
i am leaning towards logan alexander and cole mckenzie but i dont know if those names are "well received".

I love Alexander Logan and Kyle mckenzie. I think Alexander is such a strong name that it should be a first name. And I just ADORE the name Kyle! How exciting for you - TWIN BOYS!!!!

me too but then my mom whose opinion i dont think i have ever listed to before said it sounds like what bad children get from santa -- coal... we dont even celebrate xmas but this made me feel bad about it and not sure.. DH LOVES this name.

no need to be sorry! i asked!
mckenzie was actually a middle name of one of my girl names.
its funny b.c it is actually a boy name ( means something like son of the handsome one) but i have heard it more commonly for a girl. then when i told someone it was a middle name chouce for a girl they were like a GIRL? but its a boy name! so its funny the differnt way people think of names....

Oh OK- so #1- I didn't read that it was TWINS!
My first piece of advice is- if you like it, and DH likes it- DO IT! That's a rarity. Oh and don't tell people, because opinions are like a holes. Everyone has one and they stink.
Second- I like all the names, but I don't like rhyming names for twins. I know Kyle and Cole don't rhyme per say, but that whle one syllable alliteration thing- nah.

Preguntas-- ITA. it would be kyle OR cole. im not into rhhming names either and these are like you said not rhyming but are way too similar...
my MIL grew up with twins candance and sandra-- guess what they were called-- CANDY & SANDY.... im so not into that!!!!
i dont plan on sharing names - im SHOCKED at how many people even ask honestly. i just told my mom who is like the worlds most supportative person of eveything i do and i was surprised that she was so negatvie about both cole and logan.

i like the two you've picked. i obviously love cole, (it's DS's name).
cole seems timeless to me, like as in cole porter. if "coal" for a nickname is the worst kids can come up, it'a ain't too bad

that's so funny - i had no idea it was originally a boys name!
i do love the name alexander though... alex is the best nickname, IMO!
