Name letters (how to hang them??)

I bought name letters for my son's initials from Michaels and painted them myself, they are plain wood nothing on the back of them hooks or anything. How do I hang these on the wall???

Mine are hanging by ribbon attached to the back. I also bought painted nobs to hang them from the walls.

I know what letters you are talking about because I plan to get the same ones and make it a DIY project. I was going to use mounting squares (Scotch or Command). They have those at Michaels too in the framing dept. I'm sure if you talk with an associate they can recommend something but I'm going to try the mounting square route since the letters aren't heavy at all.
