Nail Salon Recommendation

I know this sounds silly but for those who faithfully get their nails done (acrylic) they know why I'm asking lol

I've been going to Brooklyn and Queens for the past 10 years to get my nails done, the one time I went in Long Island, I broke 4 of them in a week! And got charged like $40 for tips.

Anyone have a really great place they go to? I live in Merrick and work in Valley Stream so anything close to those or as far as Massepequa is game.

i go to a salon in seaford, it's on washington ave called Xia Nails. My sister gets acrylics and loves them.

there is also another place in Seaford called 7 Rainbows, on sunrise highway that is pretty good as well.

i live in massapequa and go to a place on broadway called K and Q Nails. Its right next to the Broadway deli just north of jeruselum avenue. Theyre great. i go to kevin or brandy; the owners.

So I ended up going to XIA nails and the older looking woman took me (I think she was the owner)
It was ok, she cut my nails a little shorter than I wanted and was a little rough at times but all in all its a pretty good place with decent prices. Even though they close at 7:30, they didnt make me feel rushed when I was drying my nails at 7:45 lol
And they give you points every time you go there towards free services which is pretty cool...I'll probably go back, its closer than Ridgewood-Queens lol

I'm glad you had a good experience. My sister hasn't mentioned them being rough with her nails, so I can't respond to that one. I forgot about the points system too! Just remember to give them that card each time you go.

That woman is the owner (short hair right) and the guy is her husband. I can't remember her name though! I'm so bad at remembering. they try to talk, but not that often. so i never get their names, but they remember mine!
