For those who have been to Mystic, would you recommend staying there just one night or two? DH and I are thinking of taking our 2 year old there for a little getaway...is there a lot to do there? I'm thinking that we'd take the ferry over, go to the aquarium the day we arrive...and then I'm not sure what else there is to do with a toddler. I'm looking at hotels now and I'm curious if it would be worth booking a place for 2 nights or if we could just make it a one-night trip. TIA!

Re: Mystic
There is def stuff to do. When dh and I went we spent a day at the aquarium and then a day at the harbor touring the old boats I believe. It won't be a jam packed 2 days but there is def stuff to do

My husband and I did one night. Day of arrival we did downtown Mystic and Olde Mystic Village. Day 2 we did the submarine museum and aquarium. It is close to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun if you wanted to do.that too...

We did one night. We drove in and went to the aquarium first. Then we walked around downtown and had dinner. The next day we spent a couple hours at the Seaport. My DD had fun. There's a children's area in one of the old houses with toys.
