Myrtle Beach

I have 3 different ideas for this years family summer vacation and I have small, medium and large plans.

- small is Ocean City, MD @ Francis Scott Key
- large is Atlantis, Bahamas

Not sure which DH is going to go for but the medium is Myrtle Beach. We would drive, and want to stay on the beach in a family friendly place preferably with a water slide or sprinkler park on premises for DS.

Any recs for place in Myrtle Beach? TIA

Re: Myrtle Beach

Look at North Myrtle Beach - Cherry Grove is usually where we stay. It is less crowded and more family friendly than the Myrtle Beach area and a short drive to all the attractions in Myrtle Beach. There's a tons of stuff to do as a family in Myrtle Beach. Dh and I love it there!

Look into Elliott Rentals, they have private/homes condos that they rent and most have pools you would have to look to see which have water slides. My family and I have rented from them several times and never had any issues.

Also look into Sands resorts, they have different hotels...one has a really nice water park for kids in it but I can't remember the exact name.

We stay at the Myrtle Beach Resort - it's great and family friendly. It's one of the southernmost resorts in Myrtle - on the border of Surfside Beach. They don't have a water slide but, they have a lazy river and a great kiddie pool area - my son loves it and has become a pool snob.

We use Myrtle Beach Grand Vacations to book.

Myrtle Beach

we stayed at a timeshare in Surfside beach and LOVED it. Surfside is really family friendly and the beaches are clean and less populated than Mrytle.
