My trip to L&D this morning....

So I get up early this morning bc I have a growth sono and NST scheduled for 8 am. I take a shower and have to pee so I wipe and theres blood. I checked a few times and it was there each time I wiped, I figured I should call and ask the dr. what to do.

Dr. sent me to L&D bc lastnight I was 3cm dilated and contracting when I had my regular appt.

I get to L&D, hooked up to the monitor, of course no contractions, baby looks great, my BP was a little high, still 3 cm dilated. They monitored my BP til it went back to normal, my dr. was at the hospital so she said it's going to happen any day now, she didn't want to induce yet bc I am getting ready to go on my own.

I had the growth sono done while I was there, baby is 6 lbs or so -- they told me not to bother with an appt for next week bc I'm most likely delivering before that.

I just got home, feeling some sharp pains, slight contractions, gonna go get something to eat with DH. Poor guy took the day off, I guess we'll spend the day together alone....we may not have much more of these.
