My Trip to L&D last night!
So as I mentioned to you all yesterday, I was having cramping on and off.
The dr called me back and said is it cramping or pressure, and I said cramping. So then she said, ok I think it is best if you go to the hospital and let them check you out!
So I called dh, and went home and off to LIJ we went.
They immediately hooked me up to a baby monitor and I gave them a urine sample (to check for a UTI)
They then did a full checkup- to see if my cervix was closed- and then did a transvaginal sonogram to make sure it was still long (??) They then did a full regular sonogram.
They also hooked me up to an iv for fluids.
Everything turned out fine and was normal, but I was having slight- mild contractions- from the cramping. They said it could be from increased physical activity and to take it easy!
We where there about 2hours in total.
I have to say they were very thorough and kind and we did get to see our little man again- he is still measuring a week early and is 2lbs 12 ozs!!!
I'm just glad everything is ok!

I'm so glad everything turned out ok. I know how scary it can be. Im around the same time as you and every little bit of slight cramping i am starting to freak out.

Glad to hear all is well-- sometimes it's just better to be safe than sorry. I had a little trip to L&D myself last night, jealous you learned the size of your babe!!!

I had a transvaginal sono last night for cervix check also.. As you get further into pregnancy and closer to due date the cervix length shrinkens .. so they were checking to make sure yours wasnt since your not ready to give birth yet.
when is your due date again? Im due 2/15 and baby measured 2lbs 3ozs last night.

I am due 2/18. My baby measured 2lbs 12ozs. They also said he is measuring a week ahead at 2/11. Thanks for telling me what the transvaginal sono was- i knew they were checking the length of something, just didnt know what LOL
