my treadmill broke!
I guess a belt broke? that turns the big belt? on my last interval...at least I got most in.
Our house is on the market...do I just get rid of it? (I've had it for 5 years) make room in our house, not have to move it and buy a new one for next winter. (after next sunday's half marathon I don't have a need to run no matter what)
or is it fixable - and who fixes treadmills?

Do we live in the same house...lol
Mine broke on Monday too.
Chances are it's the motor. Not sure of the brand you have, but Sears have people that comet o your house to repair. Can't hurt to try.

Re: my treadmill broke!
Mine broke about a month ago too ! We found a new belt online but since it's about 5-6 yrs old we opted to buy an elliptical instead. It's still in my garage cause I hate to throw it out but I have no idea who could fix it.

Re: my treadmill broke!
I bought mine at sears - so that's a good option...although did I see on the home board that they charge just to come out...not to fix/estimate.
I'm not sure if it's the motor - since that sounds fine...and when I tried the different speeds - it did increase and decrease.
maybe I'll look around to see if people have successfully repaired treadmills.
Thanks!
