My transfer was postponed now because....
They called me with the wrong medication and monitoring instructions so now I have to wait. Would you be pissed? Enough to change doctors?

That's so frustrating! I think you should speak to someone their to let them know you are very annoyed that happened. It sounds like disorganization to me. How's your lining doing? I remember reading about that a few days ago.. I had very bad lining issues towards the end so I could definitely commiserate!!

My transfer was postponed now because....
Thanks for remembering...it improved one visit to 6.8 but has not budged since. I'm now tentatively scheduled for next Tuesday - crossing my fingers. Will they do it that low or more importantly should they? I feel like the practice grew and I am getting lost in the merge. It makes me feel very uneasy about my treatment there.

i would def be upset over that. i would leave the practice if you feel you arent being treated right and if you dont feel like they are giving you the attention that you need.

Are you coasting on meds? Doing a natural FET? For your lining are you on Viagra supps? I too had lining issues with thickness but always had a triple layer which maybe the Viagra and acupuncture helped achieve. From my experience and IMO, I would be upset.

As far as your feelings about the practice, I'd def speak up about that!! I mean hopefully you will be pregnant and it will matter less... but it sounds very frustrating!!!!
For the lining.. I had very bad lining issues where it would be in the 5s and NOT triple layered. I didn't always have that problem... I developed it after a d&c. It's a known but RARE complication. I am apparently talented with those.
Anyway, I had a fresh IVF cycle where we canceled the transfer because my lining was bas (basically, how I described) and my doctor did not want to transfer the embryos in an imperfect environment. We waited to do an FET and my lining was just the same.. so we just decided to go with it and hope for the best. Unfortunately, I did not get pregnant. For my 2nd FET, I DID get pregnant ... .but had a miscarriage, which may or may not have been related to the lining. However, don't take my specific case as a great example, because I'm dealing with other issues.
We used esterase (orally and vaginally), delesterogen, viagra suppositories, and I did lots and lots of acupuncture!! Oh, we also did neupogen uterine infusions. I did 2 during my successful cycle. I believe this is primarily done with Dr.Braverman and I really attribute that to my successful FET. The neupogen helps with properties for implantation when used as a intrauterine wash.
There are recent studies that have come out that say as long as a lining is above a 6, there is still a good change for successful implantation but it must be triple layered. From what I have learned, the baby doesn't know the difference between a 10 and a 6. It will implant if it's going to - but being triple layered is VERY important. Also, the quality of the embryo is more important than the quality of the lining. A good quality embryo can absolutely implant in an imperfect environment!!
Different doctors have different standards for what they would like to see in order to transfer....... it also goes on a case by case basis. Regardless, I believe you have the final word.
I hope all this helps!!!

Yes very helpful PennyCat thanks. I'm on estrace now and will be hopefully doing the transfer next Tuesday. I spoke up about the issues that I have, doc says either way he would have postponed.......not sure if that's true but I'll never know. The sono tech was explaining the triple layer to me and said my lining is at least good in that way.
