my son's friend came over
i'm happy that he has someone to hang out with, today... but the kid's mom must be crazy to drive in this weather just to let her son "hang out"
i've met her, and i like her... but i've just decided that she's a little nuts.

Definately a little crazy...or maybe she just isn't crazy about the idea of having him cooped up in HER house all day!  I was going to go sledding with my friend but she lives too far to chance driving there...oh well what can you do!

I used to trek over to my friends homes all the time in this kind of weather.. and I was WEE! It's just more fun when you have someone to sled, slide and snowball with! My mom would bundle me up and send me on my way.. and whatever other mom would call and say I'd arrived. And when my friends and I crossed the tundra back to my own home, my mom would call to let them know we'd made it there. Of course this was the 70's.. the era of bad parenting.

Dropped my kids at friends. Will get them at 4. I have a Suburban the thing is like a tank.
