My son is sick - need some advice
My son is 16 months old. Saturday, he was very clingy and needy. Sunday morning, he threw up at 5:30 AM. He hadn't had any new foods or anything different lately. He had a mild fever most of the day Sunday. He was still clingy but didn't throw up again. Today, he has had explosive watery diarrhea. My MIL takes care of him in the day and she said he ate his normal foods. He didn't have a fever today.
He has been cutting new teeth and everyday it seems like a new one is popping in. He is very very VERY picky eater. Anyone have any idea what could be causing these varied symptoms? If he doesn't improve tomorrow, I am going to take him to the ped. He isn't sleeping well but he is otherwise his normal fun self.
Sorry this is a little long. This is the first time he has been sick and I am worried.

I was going to say the same thing - Molars. I heard they really wreak havoc on their little bodies.

Teething most likely. Has he had the rotavirus vaccine?

that would be the onlyt other thing I would think besides for a virus but in reality of he had a virus I am sure he would be throwing up more than once..I'll bet its teething, extra saliva etc. I'm going through the sam ething with my 11 month old. He's got 11 teeth so far! And thhey seem to come in 2-4 at a time. He doesn't throw up but triple paste is my best friend!
ETA-when my kids have loose poop they get red and irritated so I put baking soda in their bath that night
