My review of Frederic Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream
This morning, I decided to try a new hair product called Frederic Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream. I had received a sample from Sephora. After showering, I squeezed the contents of the sample package into my hand then distributed throughout my hair. I was washing the residual off my hands when I started to get nervous. I was washing with my hand soap and yet my hands were still greasy. I shrugged it off and started blow drying my hair. What was the worst that could happen?
As I was blow drying my hair, I noticed it didn't seem to be drying well. It still looked REALLY wet, even though I had been drying it for about 10 minutes. I ran a brush through it and all of a sudden it looked like I was doing a hair commercial. Perfectly flat, SHINY hair. Except. One. Little. Thing. SOOOO greasy. I had to jump back in the shower and wash my hair TWO more times.
Dried it for a second time and it is still shiny but now it isn't greasy. Apparently you are only supposed to use a dime sized amount, quarter sized for really long hair. Shouldn't they have said that on the package???
Overall, great product! Just use the correct amount.

I use this product regularly, but I only use it once my hair is dry to tame the frizz and add some shine.
They do say somewhere to use a small dime or pea size amount, because I feel like know I read it somewhere on the packaging.

Re: My review of Frederic Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream
I use it regularly and never had this happen. (And I use a lot!) Maybe it has something to do with my JHS. I find that it helps make my hair more manageable. Because of the JHS, I find my hair can be very "hard" (if that makes sense ), which makes it difficult to brush/comb when wet. With the FF Cream, my hair is soft and I can run a brush through my hair easily.
However, I haven't noticed a visible difference in any way. It's not making my hair shiny by any means, just more manageable when wet.

If you saw the size of the sample package, you would understand why my hair looked greasy. I probably could have used it for 2 weeks, if I only used a dime sized amount.
Also, because it was a sample, there were NO instructions included. I found out about the recommended usage after I checked out Sephora's website.

Ok, I'm a bonehead. I don't use the Glossing Cream. I use the Glaze Clear Shine Rinse. Ignore my previous post!!!!!
