My RE just called. I cannot believe this..
I went in for our consult last night and they drew blood to see if I ovulated at all this cycle, if AF is on her way or if I should take Provera to induce AF.
They just called with my blood results and I was surging yesterday!!! 
I have never had an AF on my own (other than last month at 12m PP) and never really O'd on my own (as far as I know). I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS! They told us to get busy today and come back in a week for a progesterone check. How long do you usually surge for? I really hope I don't miss this opportunity!!

I believe once a surge is detected, you ovulate 24-48 hours later.

I've heard 24-36 hours after. I'm sure you're still within the window. GOOD LUCK!!!
