My poor Izzy :(
Yesterday DH left a bag of chocolate covered coffee beans on the counter and my cat knocked them off and Izzy helped herself to half a bag 
I was picking my parents up from JFK and he was watching the ranger game at a bar so we both didn't get home till 10:30. I panicked since nothing like this has ever happened
I called poison control for dogs and they told me to take her to the emergency vet ASAP because the chocolate could cause a heart attack and the coffee beans could cause seizures...it honestly was the worst night of my life. I can't imagine how hard it is having kids because I cried all night that I had to leave her and that this happened
800 dollars later she is still there , I don't even care about the money I just want her better and home

OMG I am SO sorry about this.
Many prayers that Izzy will be ok.
I know what a horrible feeling it is when your animal is sick.
I fall apart and turn into a basket case when even the slightest thing is going on with my babies.

Thank everyone. I am so crushed and still waiting to hear anything
They did an EKG last night and that looked good. the biggest concern is the coffee beans since they wouldnt show symptoms until 24 hours.
I feel like such a bad mommy ugh

I know how upsetting it is to leave your baby in the hospital over night. Izzy is the best place right now. Hoping he is back with you soon and well.

omg!! I'm so happy she is ok! what a scare that is..my dog ate a tide to go pen once and I had to call aspca poison control for it..scared the crap out of me

Well my Izzy is part of the name Isabella. We have a girl kitty too and her name is Bella.
So it's Izzy and Bella...get it?
Bella's name has transformed though. We call her Bells, Belly..etc..
So glad your girl is home.
