My poor cousin...D&C complications

As many of you know, my cousin lost her baby and was scheduled for D&C this morning. Turns out her cervix is shut and shut tight, the couldn't get the thing into her cervix to do the D&C. The admitted her to the hospital and are trying to dialte or open her cervix. They are pumping her full of pain meds because she is in so much pain and her DH is just beside himself because she has to go throught his and he feels it is his fault. They are using this seaweed thing that opens up like a sponge to try and get her cervix to open so they can either get her to miscarry naturally or do the D&C. I feel so helpless and she is hurting so much. I feel sooo bad for her.

That is just terrible! Why would her DH think it's his fault? Those poor people!

thats terrible. when I had mine years ago I had to take these pills that softened my cervix the night before. they didnt give her those? it was painful, but i guess it worked. so sorry for her!

Oh I am so so sorry she has to go through that. I am praying for them!
