My plan this month
I am going to call for my cd3 appt & have Dr B do whatever testing he hasn't already done.
I will do one more round (6th) of IUIs with Femara/Gonal. If this time it doesn't work, I am taking the summer off from doctors, meds, appt, etc and enjoying my summer.
We switch our insurance in Oct and we will do IVF then.
I emotionally & physically need a break.

I can relate and sometimes a break is needed, in order to not resent the whole process, well at least for me it is. Good luck with this cycle!

thanks! I wish we had IVf coverage now and not had to wait until Oct but oh well.

I think a break can sometimes be the best medicine of all
ETA: but hopefully you don't need it because the 6th IUI will work!!

I think it sounds like a great plan. I hope your next IUI works, but in the even that it doesn't a break might be a great mental break for the stress of IF.

Sounds like a good plan!
we did the same thing last year
after 5 failed iui's and major stress over the meds and dr appts, we decided to take a break for the summer
was the best thing for both of us!! we totally relaxed and didn't miss the constant stress and anxiety that had built up over the previous months
hopefully you won't need the break anyway

Sounds like a great plan. I'm not going to say that "you need a break" because I can't stand when people say that to me. But, I think you'll know when YOU need a break. Breaks stink but I've found that even a couple months off have helped me. Involuntarily or not!
