Of course you can. My pants would not fit at 5 wks. AND I lost 2Lbs in my 1st trimester.

Thats funny, I lost 4lbs so far (most likely from not drinking alcohol for 2 weeks) yet today my lower belly is buldging. If I wasn't at work I'd sooo be undoing my top button!! My shirt just isn't long enough to cover!!

Consider it like PMS bloating. If you remember, so many of those symptoms you get right before you get your BFP are similar. My face was broken out, my boobs were huge, my stomach was bloated and my hair was greasy.
It is totally the baby!
