My Own New Backsplash!!!! pics
i had a horrible blue laminate backsplash then i had "okay" looking peel and stick vinyl tile, it was nice but i had a hard time getting them to really stick well so i decided just to do it myself!! i did all on my own!! i still have to do some loding up by the cabinets becuase there was no way i was cutting little tiny peices
i got everything at home depot and it was about $100 for 11ft bachsplash!! i am sooo happy the way it came out!!

Good for you! It looks great. Was it hard? Our kitchen is done except for the backsplash and now the contractor has another job so we've been put on hold and I hate it. so Id love to know how hard it is.

It looks great!
I've done two myself...If you want small pieces cut, you can mark them at home and bring them to HD to cut on their wet saw. I found that easier than my scorer or clippers

it was very easy!! it only took about 2 nights.
ist night i laid the tile on the back with ceremic tile adhesive, then the next day i just did the grout. i'd say a total of maybe 6 hours
the tile was one 12x12 sheet of 2x2 tiles. i just cut the sheet in half then put in the tumbled marble deco tile then put the other half of the tile over it with spacers in between very very easy!!
