My own experience with a wrong way driver
6:30 this morning I was driving down Gardiners Ave in Levittown toward Wantagh. I noticed a car driving next to me (and it's one lane both ways). At first I figured he was just making a left and pulled over beyond the turning lane. He kept going! Then he started driving through the turning lanes. THEN he was weaving past between the wrong lane and the turning lanes. He wasn't going fast (probably same as me- speed limit around 30MPH) but he was all over the place. I pulled over to call the cops but he ended up turning down a side street. I didn't follow him because I didn't want him hitting me.
I'm really hoping the cops caught up with him. Even more I'm praying he didn't hurt anyone. So scary  Please just pray that no one was hurt by this idiot!!

My parents live off Gardiners in Levittown and my dad often goes out early to get the paper. This is very scary to me! Glad you are ok and thanks for sharing!

VERY scary. Glad you are ok.
It sounds like he was DWI or under the influence of something.
Did you get a plate # or even a description of the car?
I'm rarely out very early or late but just last week I called 911 about an erratic driver.

scary, i had an experience with a wrong way driver a couple of weeks ago, and i still am shaken about it. glad you're ok!!

my dad lives on gardiners and there were 2 accidents very recently. one was drunk driving for sure and the other he wasn't sure about. but the driver hit his neighbors cars.
