My OB gave me the go-ahead
to start taking more painkillers. 
I know that yesterday was a scary day and I couldn't function for most of it...but I just can't help the feeling that I'm drugging my poor baby. Now my OB wants me to take Tylenol w/ codeine at night and 4 Darvocet during the course of the day.
I'm such a guilty mess--I can't believe my baby is going to have withdrawal symptoms when she comes out.

don't feel guilty!!!
it's not your fault that your back is like this.... and NOT addressing the severe pain is likely worse than taking the medications.
you don't want your baby to feel your stress....

Talk to them about weaning off before delivery. If I opted for the pain regimen that was going to be our plan so the baby didn't have withdrawal when born.

Dont feel guilty!! If your comfortable then thats better for the baby.. if your in extreme pain you need to take..
