my Lovenox tip
I have tried everything over the past 2 weeks to try and minimize the bruising from Lovenox.
For the past 4 days I did not pinch the skin or rub/touch the area after the injection and I have not had a bruise. All I see is the little dot where the needle went in and thats it!!
I just thought I would share.

i find its worse when i DON'T pinch a small enough spot. i guess everyone is different. i also only bruise randomly from it.
does anyone notice that they bruise more with the generic than with the brand name? 
i always used brand name, and the shot hurt more, but i bruised less. ive been using generic this cycle and it seems like the air bubble is in a weird spot in some of them and i had some bad bruising from it...

All I know is they hurt like a Mo-Fo!! The bruising is so random, too. I'll try not pinching tomorrow.

I have the same experience with the pinching. I was told my my hematologist to continue holding the spot for 30-45 seconds after injecting, and I find that really helps too.
I just switched to the generic a couple of weeks ago and find that it burns more than the name brand. I haven't had any bruising from it. Weird.
