My heart is pounding for no reason... Is this normal??
Hey Ladies! Has anyone noticed their heart racing/pounding for no apparent reason? I can just be sitting down watching tv and all of sudden my heart rate will increase and it feels like my heart is pounding. Is this normal during pregnancy or should I be nervous? TIA!

I am having the exact same thing right now LOL
I went to a cardiologist before getting pregnant because I would get palpitations every so often. I had every test under the sun and all was fine but the dr did tell me that when I get pregnant to expect to feel more palps and that it is totally normal during pregnancy

It happens to me all the time, but I have a heart issue and am being seen by a cardiologist, so that is pretty normal for me. It has been happening a lot more during the pregnancy, though!

OMG it's the weirdest thing!! I'm so relieved to hear that your doctor told you that it is normal. I'm not exactly having palpitations, it just feels like I finished running a marathon and I'm sitting on the couch watching tv. LOL.

I had that my last preg dr says it s from hormones.. i had ekg too and all was fine but you shouold still tell your dr the next time u see him.
