my halloween pet peeve!!
buying two big bags of candy and then having 10 trick or treaters!
i live in a neighborhood of all little kids - what gives?
now i have to eat it all myself.
on second thought... maybe this isn't such a bad thing

i get annoyed when the kids dont say Trick or Treat and when they just grab the candy themselves....

We live in a neighborhood with tons of kids and hardly got anyone either. I guess it's because we live on the dead end. No one wants to come down this way. Even with all my halloween lights.

This was us this year too! Last year I actually ran out of candy because of all the foot traffic. This year I was paranoid because it was a Friday so I bought a TON - and we had MAYBE 25 kids. I was giving HANDFULS of candy out... but I didn't really even make a dent. My husband said it's because we are on a dead end - but I drove down Lincoln Ave to get home and there weren't nearly the same number of flashlights and pumpkin pails as there was last year.

I think we had 4 knocks on the door for about 12 trick or treaters total.
Good thing I bought cheap Dum-dum's lollipops...I'll just take them to school and give them to my students on Monday
