My First Dr.'s Appt
Hi Ladies,
I just got back from my first pregnancy doctor's appointment. They confirmed that I am pregnant!  I'm going for bloodwork tomorrow and my first sono next week!
The only bummer is that my insurance doesn't cover in-office sonograms. That means I'm going to have to go to a lab for every sonogram. Did anyone else have to do that too?
Also, I'll be six weeks by the time of the sonogram. Do you know if I will be able to see the heartbeat then? DH and I can't wait to have our first picture!

Congrats!!!!
I had my first sono on Monday- we thought I was about 5.5 weeks, but I was really about 5 (long cycles)- and the tech said I was close to seeing the heartbeat.
So you just might!

congrats!!
i think you'll probably be able to see the heartbeat by that time, but i'm not 100% sure...
