My first DIY, be gentle!
My MIL had this giant mirror that for some reason DH was obsessed with bringing home. I figured WTH we could make it look different with some work...it was painted a basic tan color before...
So here it is, my crackle mirror! Not a hard project and I'm in LOVE with the way it came out!
Apologies in advance for my crappy blackberry pics...its just easier than pulling out the camera!

how do you do that?
It gets primed with GLUE, believe it or not, and then you paint over it. It cracks right away, its so cool!
