My eyes hurt from reading the drama posts
So, I thought I would tell you all that DH and I just booked our very first vacation ALONE in almost four years.
Our first vacation together - without the boys.
I still have a few months to prepare for it, but I have to be honest here, I am freaking the hell out. It's different when one of us goes away, and the other is home with the kids. But, to both be away makes me so nervous for some reason.
Oh, and it's only for two nights. But, I'm all about Baby Steps! 
Now you can carry on with the good old drama! Thought the title would get your attention

We are going to Fort Lauderdale in October. Not sure where we are staying yet - I'm leaning towards The Hard Rock.
We had an airline credit that needed to be booked by the end of the week, I've been putting it off for a year
Is it sad that I'm pretty sure that October will be the next time that I actually sleep through the night again

I'm not so sure how I feel about parents who leave their children to go on vacation  I kid, I kid....

we stayed in the hard rock in seminole and it was really nice, i highly reccomend it. have a good trip!

we stayed in the hard rock in seminole and it was really nice, i highly reccomend it. have a good trip!
Yay! That's good to know. Is it kind of like a one-stop shopping? Casino? Restaurants? Bars? I kind of don't want to have to travel since we are only there for two nights!

In my experience the worry is usually prior to the event.....When you are actually go on the vacation you will be fine! Worry seems to precede separation but you will get it all out and be fine....BTDT a few times and I am always concerned prior to departure and then have an excellent, worry free time.

Knowing you, I can only picture the instructions you're leaving for your parents (or whoever's watching the boys) Probably 10 pages long....not knocking you, I'm the same way!!!
