GROWTH SPURT!!

My son had this happen at 5 months..I remember sitting here posting about it and how miserable i was, lol. It passed but he needed more calories at that time for some reason...

I bet that is it! And it'll get better I promise! Chat Icon

could you try giving him bigger bottles during the day so he will sleep a lilttle more at night?? it prob. is to do with his teething too...maybe the bottle feels good!

I agree - has to be a growth spurt. Also, keep in mind that boys (according to my doctor) tend to demand and need more calories so if they don't get it during the day they is a stronger likelihood that they will demand it at night.

This should pass soon! It could just happen overnight or it could be where he will start decreasing the number of times he wakes and feeds in the next week until he's back on track.

This has been happening to DD as well - she is 5 months and had been sleeping thru the night since 2.5 months. Hopefully it will pass!!
