My dryer stinks
My dryer smells like mildew. Anything that does in comes out smelling like it sat for a while. Since it is in a closet in my kitchen, it is starting to smell up my kitchen. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

Re: My dryer stinks
did you try running a load with bleach & mildrew remover?
Also, I would pull out the machine and clean the floor and walls around it. It may have a leak.

It is my dryer, not my washing machine. It sat in storage for a couple of years while we were apartment living and it was fine when we first starting using it again and now it stinks.

Re: My dryer stinks
I would check to see if something got in it while it was in storage.

No, you can still run a load with bleach & mildrew remover. I would soak some white towels in bleach & mildrew remover and run a load in the dryer. It should remove the odor. I would check the connections as well as have someone come and look at it.
