My DH never sent thank you emails
for the jobs he interviewed with last week or yesterday. He has their email addresses, that's how he was corresponding with them. Is it really bad that he didn't do that? I never used to send them but have been in the recent years. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Re: My DH never sent thank you emails
I think it is appropriate to send a thank you correspondence upon completing an interview and I don't think it is too late to do so for the interviews he had.
I also dont think that NOT sending a thank you letter will mean the difference between getting the job or not. If they like you as a candidate and you are their #1 person to make an offer to, I don't think that not wiriting a thank you note will cause the employer not to hire the person. I do think it can only help and make you look that more ahead of the crowd if you do write a thank you note.
So, I'd encourage DH to write a quick note to the people he interviewed with as soon as possible. It will only help to keep him top of mind to the hiring person.

I agree. Thanking someone for their time in the interview process is the right thing to do.
