my daughter wants a what??!!
a pink and gold room.
where does she get this from?
can any of you decorators out there find anything remotely nice with these two colors?
ETA: we were in ace hardware today and she (4 years old) was actually picking out pink and gold BM paint swatches....

sure you can give her a pink & gold room........like this with accessories of gold. 
Maybe Pink & yellow would work for her?
Hope these pics help. You can paint the room pink and buy a gold mirror, gold accent pillow with ruffles, maybe gold scones with crystals, and some gold picture frames. What do you think? Are you breathing now?

just wanted to add that you're a great mom for listening to her at young age and agreeing to let her run with her creativity
my parents always let me have whatever room color I wanted...even if they didn't love it..from pink, to purple, to yellow, to tangerine...to watermelon pink!!!

HAHA! i say OK, but DH, not so good with it. but, as PP said, do pink with gold accents and it can always be changed out. i look at it like... it's paint and a day to change it once we get sick of it.

HD carries the Ralph Lauren line and they actually have gold paint. We used it for one wall in our dining room when we bought our house. Unfortunately we had to change it when we put the AC unit in the wall.

I like the idea of pink room with gold accessories. You could probably find gold decals (maybe a chandelier or something like that) that could easily come off
