MY BACK HURTS From Packing!!

Just sharing, I can't wait to get a tub on 3/4/07 (because we just have a shower stall now) because I've been packing all day and my back is killing me. Not to mention I just listed like a mad woman on ebay. WHEW! And in 3 weeks I get to unpack everything. I need a drink!

But great news, our closing is set for 3/4/07 at 2PM!! We are having our final walk through Sunday 3/1/07!!! So excited!! Love buying from folks who are leaving the state, none of the waiting game!! Oh, they are still in town, but they fly out on 3/4/07 at 9PM!! So, the closing has gotta be that day. SWEET FOR US!!

I'll be packing this week to so I can relate. We aren't in as much of a rush but still have things to do.

I hate moving and that's one of the reasons. Sometimes I think it pays to have someone pack and unpack you.

LOL I just started packing all day. I am exhausted too! Yes, my back hurts. I had to stop for a couple of hours and will start again in the morning.
Congratulations to you both on your move!!!! We should be getting official closing date this week and all the paperwork in complete so it looks like first week in March for us too!!

I can relate, Kerry!!! Just wait till the moving starts - I found that more nerve wrecking than the packing and unpacking.

I am always in so much pain the night after moving

and I have to do it all again in 9 months

I left all my china in the bubble wrap- b/c I knew we weren't staying here-

good luck and take some aleve before you start- it helps!

I hear ya...but it's all good pain!
The part I'm hating is the living in between boxes...
We're hoping to close the first week of March too!

Congratulations! You must be really excited. Packing is a PITA, but it will be worth it when you are in your own home.

I packed all day today. Thank god for my mom's help otherwise I don't know what I would have done. We still have more to go but we made a good dent. Packed 41 boxes today!!!

good for you. I think we are up to 30, but probably have another 10 to go. I still can't get over how much crap we have.

P.S. helpful tip: When moving clothes, pack them in your luggage. You have to move your luggage anyway, why not make good use of that space!! Gotta love my MIL!!

How is the packing going ladies?? I am stalled at the moment but this is nuts living out of boxes.
DH asked me for a nice meal since I am off, me trying to be the good wife decided to cook him Beef Bourguignon with Red Wine in the crock pot that I never opened. What a meal that was. I turned the kitchen and boxes upside down. I guess no cooking meals like that until we move. What a pain living out of these boxes were. I already had packed the wine bottle opener and had to dump out the box looking for it!
Well, had to share and DH was VERY grateful for the meal but somewhere I lost my sanity.
